CLEVELAND, Ohio – Meat and poultry products have been recalled after a Listeria contamination threat, according to the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

Yu Shang Food Inc. of Spartanburg, South Carolina, has recalled about 4,589 pounds of the ready-to-eat products that might be adulterated withListeria monocytogenes, the FSIS said.

The items were shipped to retail locations nationwide and available for purchase online.

The items were produced from Oct. 21 to Oct. 27 with used-by dates ranging from 21-AUG-2025 through 27-AUG-2025. Products subject to recall bear establishment number P-46684 or EST. M46684 inside the USDA inspection mark.

The recalled products:

• Yu Shang Brand Cooked Chicken, 20 ounces, vacuum pack.

• Seasoned Pork Hock, 20 ounces.

• Japanese Chashu Pork Belly, 16 ounces, vacuum pack.

• Braised Pork Belly in Brown Sauce, 16 ounces.

• Yu Shang Brand Cooked Pork Hock, 1.4 pounds.

• Chinese Brand Spicy Chicken Feet, 8 ounces.

• Bazhen Seasoned Whole Chicken, 20 ounces.

• Braised Beef Shank, 16 ounces.

• Seasoned Pork Tongues, 12 ounces.

Consumption of food contaminated with L. monocytogenes can cause listeriosis, a serious infection that primarily affects older adults, persons with weakened immune systems and pregnant women and their newborns.

Consumers who have bought the products should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

This is the latest recall regarding products suspected of being contaminated with Listeria. In October, an Oklahoma company was hit with a massive recall affecting almost 10 million pounds of products. Distribution also affected several child-care centers in Northeast Ohio.
